Entrance to Dorothea Dix Memorial Park (this is roadside) Traffic moves quikly on this main road (Route 1A) so the arch is a good "marker" for this site The plaque below (honoring Dorothea Dix) is affixed to the left side of the entrance arch
Placed near the entrance to the park, this plaque honors the Armed Forces who have defended the United States of America.
God bless the Boy Scouts of America! The flagpole was their project. (See plaque below)
