The Mills Apartments’nmore

Most of the photos in this post are pictures displayed on the walls on the first floor of the “apartment” building. Businesses lease office space on the 1st floor: the residences/ apartments are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor: there is an elevator for easy access.                            Mills Apartments were originally The American Woolen Company Foxcroft Mill.

Moosehead MFG of Monson used these buildings for production at a later time.

An Italianate barn, once a part of the mill complex, is located at the side of the apartments near the entrance: There is ample parking for businesses, residents, and visitors.

I have a fascination with footbridges: this is another view of the footbridge connecting people to work at the American Woolen Mill Company. Click on the picture for a look at the swinging footbridge.
